A daughter of former Heritage Minister William ole Ntimama has launched her bid for the Narok woman representative seat on a Jubilee Party (JP) ticket.

Lydia Naneu Masikonte vied for the same seat in 2013 on ODM ticket and lost to the incumbent Soipan Tuya of URP party. The two rivals will face off once again in the Jubilee Party primaries.

Whoever gets the JP ticket will battle it out with either Rebecca Tonkei or Eunice Marima who are both eyeing ODM ticket.

Ms Masikonte, who was endorsed by elders at her Rotian home in Narok North, pledged to offer leadership in socio-economic development facing women in pastoral areas.

The elders led by former Rotian Councillor Nkuruna ole Masikonte pledged to rally support to ensure Ntimama's daughter clinches JP ticket.
