Today we make peppercorn steak creamy curry.
Ingredients:
1kg beef steak, cut into cubes
1 teaspoon ginger powder
Salt to taste
1 cup water
For the peppercorn sauce:
1 tablespoon black peppercorns (crushed)
500ml heavy cooking cream
2 bouillon beef cubes
1/2 cup broth (from the boiled beef)
Method:
Add all the ingredients in a pressure cooker and cook for 25 minutes.
Keep the broth aside; you will use it in making the peppercorn sauce.
In a non-stick pan over medium heat, put in the crushed peppercorns and roast for one minute.
Now add the cooking cream and stir.
Crumble in the beef bouillon cubes and cook for about five minutes.
Add the broth and cook till the sauce is thick.
Add the beef and mix well.
Serve with the mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
