Renowned Kenyan media personality and emcee, Azeezah Hashim, delivered an electrifying performance as the host of the grand evening reception for Tanzanian model and entrepreneur Hamisa Mobetto and Ivorian footballer Aziz Ki.

The extravagant event, held on February 19 at the Superdome Masaki in Dar es Salaam, was a resounding success, marking one of the most glamorous celebrations in East Africa.

The charismatic and deep-voiced presenter, who was flown from Kenya specifically for this prestigious occasion, captivated the elite gathering with her infectious energy and seamless stage presence. Azeezah, known for her strategic career moves and close ties within the Tanzanian entertainment industry, expressed immense gratitude for being part of such a monumental event.

"Now I have begun to see the fruits of my hard work. I have always been intentional about my journey. My dream is Hollywood, but to get there, you must set clear goals. My first goal was to establish myself in East Africa."

Azeezah's relentless efforts and commitment to her craft caught the admiration of none other than Hamisa Mobetto herself.
"I got a DM from Hamisa saying, 'I'm getting married and I'd love for you to come and host for me." As someone who has followed her journey for a long time, I was in disbelief. You go from watching people on social media to actually working with them-it's surreal," Azeezah had shared before the event.

On the night of the reception, Azeezah did not disappoint. She brought an unmatched vibrancy to the event, seamlessly guiding the evening's proceedings and ensuring an unforgettable celebration for all in attendance. Guests were treated to a night of elegance, high-energy performances, and heartfelt moments, solidifying the event as one of the most talked-about in recent times.

The wedding festivities began on February 15, when Aziz Ki honored traditional customs by presenting 30 cows and Ksh 30 million as dowry to Hamisa's mother, Shufaa Rutiginga. The heartfelt gesture reinforced Aziz's deep respect and commitment to the union. Their elegant Nikah ceremony followed on February 16, officiated by the Grand Sheikh of Dar es Salaam, Sheikh Walid Alhad Omar, at the Nnuur Mosque in Mbweni.

The grand reception on February 19 was a night to remember, attended by an exclusive guest list from across Africa's entertainment and business industries.
