Meghan Markle could potentially return to acting after her interview with Oprah Winfrey, it has been suggested. The Duchess of Sussex, who was previously best known for starring in court drama series Suits, was forced to give up her acting career when she married Prince Harry.

But after stepping away from her royal duties with Harry, there could be room for her to return to acting.

Ahead of their explosive interview with Oprah, in which Meghan accuses the Royals of "perpetuating falsehoods", a new documentary has explored the possibility of her returning to the silver screen.

Meghan played Rachel Zane in Suits from 2011 until 2017.

Royals at War author Dylan Howard said: "Meghan is creating a new form of celebrity for herself with media conglomerates in the 10s of 100s of millions of dollars. It sets her on a path of unparalleled stardom.

"Let's not be surprised if we see her return to acting."

But he also fears that Harry and William's relationship may likely be forever ruined after the interview.

Howard said: "It's almost like Prince Harry is driving a wedge with a sledgehammer through his relationship with Prince William.

"William, as a staunch advocate of everything that the Royal Family means, is obviously going to be dragged into this. I expect this interview to not only reverberate in the United States and England, but to rock the Establishment at its core."

In an explosive clip released last week, Meghan vowed to Oprah that she wouldn't be silenced and accused the Royal Family of playing an "active role" in "perpetuating falsehoods" about her and Prince Harry.

Oprah had asked Meghan how she felt about the Palace hearing her "speak her truth".

Meghan replied: "I don't know how they could expect that after all of this time we would still just be silent if there is an active role that The Firm is playing in perpetuating falsehoods about us.

“And, if that comes with risk of losing things, I mean, I … there is a lot that’s been lost already."

This came just hours after Buckingham Palace announced an investigation into allegations that Meghan bullied former royal staff.
