Former Nakuru County Miss Congeniality Elizabeth Nyambura popularly known as Designa Wen in social media circles was early this week temporarily hospitalised after she was involved in a terrible car crash on Thika road superhighway.

The model turned businesswoman sounded shaken as she explained her near-death experience. "I thank God for saving my life. The vehicle, whose occupants seemed intoxicated hit me from behind causing me to swerve violently to the other end of the road. I'm lucky to be alive," she said while speaking to Standard Entertainment & Lifestyle.

Videos in our possession taken immediately after the accident showed a heated argument with both drivers throwing blame at each other.  However, Designa has since revealed that she is recuperating from home. The other driver was not as lucky as she informed us, "They are in prison. It was traumatising. It's really not fair to endanger the lives of other motorists by driving under the influence," she appealed.
