Singer Avril has responded to claims she gave Naiboi a cold shoulder when he allegedly requested her input in his hit song 2 in 1.
Responding to a curious fan on Instagram, Avril stated that she was in the hospital at the time.
“Watched the video and you rocked! But you refused to do the 2 in 1 challenge yet Naiboi requested you to,” posed one Josephine Lenah.
“Yer I couldn’t was unfortunately in hospital...didn’t feel like getting into it with him... Let people do what they gotta do,” responded Avril.
When Faith Kiiru pressed further to the effect of, “Lol and you refused to appear on Naibos 2 in1... Its ok lemmi accept u in Otiles,” the singer responded that she won’t speak about it again, “Talked about this ... Will not do that again ... Enjoy the song.”
Naiboi’s 2 in 1 featured a few celebrities such as Nyashinksi, Eric Omondi, and Shaffie Weru among others making cameo appearances as they sang along to the song’ s catchy lyrics.
Avril is at the moment riding high with the song Kenyan Girl having been featured by heartthrob music crooner Otile Brown. Surprisingly, Kenyan Girl has the same twist to 2 in 1 where participants sing along to its lyrics.
In the song, Otile has lit social media with bars that seem heap praise on his ex-girlfriend Vera Sidika via a sneaky line that tags on the socialite’s voluptuous figure.
“Kiuna chake Vera Mzigo mzito sana mi nashindwa ka ntautua,an amshauzi ka Huddah” sang Otile.
