Stanley Ngara alias King of Condoms wants sex workers across the country to suspend work on the eve of voting day.
Ngara also wants the over 140,000 female sex workers to mobilise their clients to participate in the fresh elections slated for October 26.
He says mapping done in all towns with over 5,000 population established there are between 107, 552 and 169, 288 active sex workers.
“This is a huge voting block that cannot be ignored. If clubs can chose to close down, why not the night nurses?” posed the King of Condoms.
The safe sex crusader who has been dishing free condoms to the sex workers in major towns says women in sex business sleep with over 700,000 men every week.
“I want these women to be reasonable during this period,” says Ngara.
This year alone 10 sex workers have been killed in Nairobi, notorious areas being Kayole, Githurai, Dandora, Huruma and Mlolongo.
“Some clients go after sex workers to release stress and a slight disagreement with them they resort to harming them. Others clients just revenge on any sex worker after being robbed by another in the past” he said.
