Hassan Omar and Joho get involved in Diamond’s cheating feud

• Hassan Omar has been in the forefront criticizing Joho’s government

• Omar has asked Joho to intervene and save Diamond’s partnership with Zari

In a thinly veiled jibe aimed at Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho, former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar has weighed in on the issue surrounding bongo sensation Diamond Platinumz.

Omar asked Joho to intercede as a brother and save Diamond’s union with Zari Hassan.

The Mombasa Governor is known to be close to the bongo star along with a number of other Tanzanian artists including AliKiba.

Omar lost the Mombasa gubernatorial race to Hon Hassan Joho in the August 8th elections.

The former Senator has been in the forefront criticizing Joho’s government. In particular, he was against the invitation of American star Chris Brown to the coastal city, a move that Omar said wasted resources that would have otherwise been spent on more serious issues.

Diamond has found himself in the middle of a marital feud following his public confession to have cheated on his partner Zari Hassan with model Hamisa Mobeto with whom he got a son.
