On 19 August, a sombre mood engulfed Lifunga village in Siaya County as slain Independent Elections and Boundaries Commission’s ICT manager Chris Msando was laid to rest.
During the burial which was attended by NASA leaders, Msando’s family accused the state of laxity in investigating Msando’s death after being tortured and murdered on July 28.
