After a lorry plunged into River Honi along the Nyeri-Nyahururu road on Sunday afternoon killing two people, rescue efforts were not a priority.
A huge crowd of onlookers milled at the scene while some people took advantage of the unfortunate incident to loot bags of animal feed from the ill-fated vehicle.
