Controversial Kabete Member of Parliament, Ferdinand Waititu, has told off Governor William Kabogo after he allegedly called him a chokoraa from Dandora slums.
“We relocated to the slums in Nairobi with my mother. I am a child of a hustler, and we lived in poverty in Kibera slums. God blessed us because He is faithful. I started my political career as a councillor,” said Kabogo, adding that, “I believe someone can rise from poverty to stardom. The money you possess belongs to you and your wife.”
The embattled Kiambu governor who filed a case against Waititu for allegedly holding a fake degree from India, told a crowd at a dispensary in Ting’ang’a that Waititu “is a chokoraa and people should not vote for him.”
“My people, ask yourselves why he is not vying in Nairobi? I am your son because I was born and raised here, don’t leave me and embrace an outsider who used to be a chokoraa in Dandora,” Kabogo said.
Waititu however told off the Governor, charging that Kabogo embarrassed the people of Kiambu when he got involved with a university girl young enough to be his daughter.

“This is a thug. Instead of working for the people when he was a Member of Parliament, he seduced a university girl young enough to be his daughter,” said Waititu adding that, “When he visits you, he should give you more money because even if you eat you must poo! But in your mind the vote is mine.”
