The gospel singer Ringtone has been accused by a couple of having grabbed their land in the posh Runda estate before maliciously damaging a lawyer's car. Following this incident, the singer now says he will not allow himself to be dragged in negative publicity.
Speaking to SDE he said: “It appears that there are a section of people who are out to not only tarnish my name through bad press but are also out to ensure that my efforts go down the drain, something which I will not by any means allow. These are people who are only out to seek publicity using my name, but despite everything the God that I serve will fight for me.”
The allegation comes hardly a few days after ringtone was accused of impregnating a girl who is said to be a girlfriend of a tout. He also has hit the headlines thanks to an incident over the weekend where he allegedly attacked and threatened to slash an Uber driver with a panga.
The taxi driver who has been identified as Dan Kibogo claimed that some five clients hired him to take them from the Nairobi’s CBD to the posh Runda estate.
