A month ago when Pulse revealed that gospel singer Ringtone was working closely with some powerful politicians, the Jubilation singer denied it. But photos don’t lie.
On Sunday, the singer who still seems to have an interest in politics was at Governor William Kabogo’s residence where the Kiambu leader hosted President Uhuru Kenyatta after a church service in Ruiru. Apparently, Ringtone was the only celebrity invited at the special lunch date during which he had a chat with the President.
“Well, everyone knows that I was working closely with the President’s team during the last campaigns and that Kabogo is my friend. The president was happy to see me. I promised him youth support to get his development projects running, especially in ensuring the Uwezo Fund dream comes true,” Ringtone told Pulse. “I like the fact that he (the president) recognises us and has kept his word on the youth,” he added.
