Speaking to The Standard after awarding the scholarship, Chesosi said he hopes to impart the virtue of philanthropy to his daughter.
"This is an initiative to give back to society, encouraging and motivating learners and teachers in the school where my daughter Joan Chesosi schooled the previous year," Chesosi said.
Joan is currently a student at Brook House International School.
Chesosi said he was impressed by the tremendous work done by the teachers at the school who he noted had been a good example and mentors to his daughter and many students.
