Agriculture reforms by the President Uhuru Kenyatta's administration are unstoppable, Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya said.
Speaking when he met leaders of coffee and tea societies in Central and South Imenti in Meru on Friday, Mr Munya told off those who were opposed to the new regulations governing the sub sectors, including the Kenya Tea Development Agency (KTDA).
Mr Munya took issue with KTDA who have obtained court orders stopping the CS from making changes in its business undertakings.
“I am not fighting KTDA. For what? The agenda of reviving tea, coffee, dairy and others, is being led by the President. We don’t have a fight with KTDA or its directors. We are saying farmers must get their rights,” the CS said.

Munya at the same time asked the Judiciary not to stand in the way of the Government’s work to improve the lives of Kenyan farmers.
He pointed out that by granting orders to entities to stop its agricultural projects, the Judiciary was meddling in State affairs.
Munya took issue with how tea sales were being sold in foreign countries, and vowed the government would eradicate ‘crocodiles’ in Nairobi.
He said the Ministry wants incomes from coffee sales at the Mombasa auction to be sent to the factories within 14 days.
