Governor Wavinya Ndeti. She wants Raila Odinga to reciprocate Kalonzo Musyoka's past support. [John Muia, Standard]

Governor Wavinya Ndeti has maintained her stand that Azimio leader Raila Odinga should support Kalonzo Musyoka for the presidency in 2027.

This is the second time Wavinya is turning the heat on Raila.

A few days ago during a public participation exercise on funds allocation at Kathiani chief's office, the governor told Raila to reciprocate Kalonzo's past support or be ready to part ways with the Kamba community.

And on Friday, speaking at Masinga market during a similar exercise, the governor repeated the call saying: "This time round Raila should understand that we are tired of him and should honourably reciprocate the Kamba support by rallying behind Kalonzo".

She said the Kamba community has suffered lack of support from national governments due to its support for Raila.

Wavinya said should Raila fail to heed her call, the Kamba community will henceforth disassociate with him and forge an alliance with President William Ruto for the sake of development.
