Jubilee leaders led by Governor James Nyoro have rejected the results election results in Kiambu terming them as a sham.

Nyoro said that he was disappointed by the electoral commission for presiding over a flawed election that has seen them lose their positions.

"Early the next morning, we had to call the chief returning officer several times for him to prevail upon the returning officers to issue the badges to our chief agents. When polling started the next day, again our agents practically across the county were denied entry into the polling stations by the presiding officers," said Nyoro.

Nyoro alleged that over 10,000 votes cast in favour of the Azimio candidate were counted as United Democratic Alliance (UDA) votes and wondered how many more such instances occurred across the county.

Kikuyu Constituency Jubilee candidate Owen Ndungu said that his agents were blocked from polling stations.

David Ngari, the Jubilee candidate for Thika said that Azimio candidates were not allowed to get in to the polling stations.
