Seven people died and five others injured in a road accident near Narok Town on Friday.
The June 3 head-on collision involved an 11-seater matatu belonging to Ena Coach, which was heading towards Nairobi, and a lorry heading towards Bomet.
Five of the victims died on the spot, while two succumbed to their injuries during treatment at the Narok County Referral Hospital.
The accident occurred at around 1pm.
Confirming the incident, Narok Central Sub-County Police Commander Frederick Kinaibei said the deceased were moved to the Narok Hospital’s morgue.

“Five of the survivors are receiving treatment at the same hospital,” he told The Standard.
