Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga has picked businessman David Kinarire as his running mate ahead of the August 9 General Election.
Kinanire has been in the political scene for 10 years. He vied for the Mukurweini Parliamentary seat in 2013 and 2017.
The county chief said he selected Kinanire having learned lessons from his previous rushed decision to select a deputy governor.
