"We have flagged off the bikers riding all the way from here to Nakuru to celebrate 75 years of India's celebration. This is a demonstration that we are advocating for safety for our riders. We are trying to see special lanes are designed for safety riding either for bicycles, motorbikes or pedestrians," Wanyonyi noted.

"This is a good gesture that the best way to beat traffic jams is through bicycles and motorcycles. Bikes ease traffic. I am happy to be part of this initiative and celebration of India's 75 years independence celebration."
