1,152 people test positive for Covid-19 out of a sample size of 8,697 in the last 24 hours; a positivity rate of 13.7 percent.
Of the confirmed cases today, 68.4 percent (788) are from the One Zoned Area comprising of Nairobi (458), Nakuru (139), Kiambu (93), Machakos (50), and Kajiado (48).

The total confirmed positive cases are now 129,330 and cumulative tests so far conducted are 1,463,458.
159 patients have recovered, 59 from Home-Based and Isolation Care and 93 from various health facilities. The total recoveries stand at 91,665.

Kenya has recorded six deaths over the last 24 hours, all of which are late death reports from facility record audits that occurred on diverse dates. The cumulative fatalities are now 2,104.
1,212 patients are admitted to hospitals and 3,885 are on Home Based Isolation and Care.
Same as yesterday, 124 patients are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), of whom, 32 are on ventilatory support, 85 are on supplemental oxygen and 7 are on observation.
Another 86 patients are separately on supplementary oxygen with 76 of them in the general wards and 10 in the High Dependency Unit (HDU).
