A 42-year-old wedding planner was today arrested and presented before a Makadara court over the murder of Penina Wairimu, 36, in 2019.
David Migwi was, however, not required to plead to charges when he was presented before Makadara Chief Magistrate Heston Nyagah in the afternoon.
The court allowed officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations 14 days to question Migwi and conclude their investigations.
Wairimu, a single mother of three, was last seen alive on the night of April 26 last year.
