Garissa Town Constituency MP Hon. Aden Duale has called upon the Cotu boss Francis Atwoli to leave Jubilee party alone.

Duale has faulted Atwoli for allegedly pressing hard for his ouster. He instead asked Atwoli to pay attention to making better the lives of Kenyan workers.

"...I want to remind him that he is not a member of Jubilee and should not purport to direct the party on how it should conduct its business," stated Hon. Duale.

On Saturday, Atwoli congratulated Senators for impeaching the Senate Deputy Speaker Kithure Kindiki, owing to his failure to show up in a past meeting previously convened by President Kenyatta at Statehouse.

Atwoli pointed out that the same disciplinary actions should also be extended to the National Assembly. "I will use all my available resources to campaign for his removal...," affirmed Atwoli regarding Duale's impeachment.

Atwoli pointed an accusing finger to Duale for introducing bills touching on employees' welfare, among them a bill that illegalized strikes.

According to the constitution, the majority leader serves to bridge the gap between the Executive and the National Assembly. He also oversees debate for bills from the government.

Duale has expressed his dismay over Atwoli's push, citing that he only accounts for a single vote in the assembly. As a result, he wondered why Atwoli could direct his attack on him alone.

At the same time, Duale asked the Cotu boss to focus on how to pass his leadership mantle to a younger person.
