The
immediate former Chancellor KCA University Prof. Arthur Eshiwani was on Friday
celebrated in a colorful farewell dinner party held at the luxurious Villa Rosa
Kempinski, Nairobi.
The event
aimed at celebrating the soft-spoken but tough Professor was attended by the
KCA University Council led by Sir Mike Eldon, KCA University board of Trustees,
Management, staff, and invited guests, including Vice-Chancellors from
different universities.
The
speakers, during the event, shared their message of gratitude and rekindled
their memories with Prof. Eshiwani.
Every
speaker who stood in the podium describing him as Strong Pillar and Leader of
Outstanding Contributions to see KCA University grow from early days’ as
college to his role in ensuring KCA got the Letter of Interim Authority to
operate as a University.
While
speaking at the dinner, the immediate former Chancellor, Prof. Arthur Eshiwani,
said that he is grateful for the many years he served KCA university at different
capacities. He thanked the KCA University management and staff for their
kindness and for always believing in him even in his low seasons.

He further went
ahead to congratulate the Board of Trustees for the right choice and that he is
ready to hand over the mantle to a person he has always believed in.
“The Board
of Trustees KCA University made the right choice, and I am glad to hand over
the button to the person I have always believed in, and with her stature,
knowledge, and experience. I believe KCA University will exploit its full
potential.” Said Prof. Arthur Eshiwani.
Prof.
Eshiwani was the first Chancellor of KCA University. He is succeeded by Prof.
Olive Mugenda, who was installed the same Friday at the KCA University, Main
Campus.
