Kenyans online on Saturday, February 1, 2020, took to social media to send messages to Gatundu South Member of Parliament(MP) Moses Kuria.

This came after the legislator was humiliated by Kitui County Governor Charity Ngilu who called for his removal from the venue.

The move by Ngilu caused a stir online as it elicited mixed reactions.

Some took to social media to show support for the Gatundu South legislator whose videos and photos of his harassment had gone viral, while others rebuked him for the incident.

Bundi Ikao - This whole thing makes us wonder what is the meaning of BBI building or breaking??these meetings should be halted..they have turned to be avenues of insults, intimidations.

Vic Brian - You my hero MK, God is with you. Next is mt.kenya and Rift Valley. What happened in kitu will never happen again.

Munuhe Kibui - They think they are campaigning for Uhuru but they are making him look bad. You were the star of the meeting Mheshimiwa everyone is talking about you.

Tony Richards - If BBI is truly BBI why not have Uhuru,Ruto and Raila lead this campaigns on one podium.?Why is Uhuru black mailing his tribes men with handouts when he deliberately destroyed their economic lively hood?

Democratist Havier - You had planned for your parallel BBI meetings, what happened?? We're building bridges and some households may be displaced during this construction period, it seems you're one of them.

Kitui County Governor Charity Ngilu on Saturday, February 1, 2020, caused a stir during the Kitui BBI rally after she called for the removal of Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria from the event.

In her defense, the Kitui Governor explained that the Gatundu Legislator was disrespectful to the President.

Kuria had made unsuccessful attempts to gain access to the dias after which he decided to use another route when the Kitui Governor made the statement.

It was the statement that got Kuria roughed up and pushed out of the area.

However, he eventually gained access to the dias.
