Police in Mogotio are investigating the killing of a 19-year-old man in a suspected love triangle.
Sub-county Criminal Investigation officer Otieno Nyamburu said Edwin Kipkemboi was reportedly hacked to death by a man who accosted him on the road on Wednesday night.
“The suspect went to Kipkemboi’s house where he found his father and demanded to know where his son was. The suspect was armed with a panga and a rungu and the old man revealed his son’s whereabouts out of fear,” said Nyamburu.
The suspect was arrested yesterday in Molosirwe village and was being held at Mogotio Police Station, while the body of the deceased was taken to Nakuru County Municipal Hospital mortuary.
