A first term MP from Rift Valley with a penchant for issuing handouts to voters landed in the hands of robbers when he got out of his car to give cash to a group of boda boda riders.

Excited, the MP walked out of the car to the riders, and was followed by his bodyguards, leaving the driver alone in the car.
