Brokers have taken over many land offices around the country, making it difficult for many citizens to get services, shows a survey released yesterday by the Land Development and Governance Institute (LDGI).
It says that exclusive use of brokers is one of the many forms corruption still manifest itself at lands offices across the 29 counties surveyed between October and November last year.
“Some land offices have been hijacked by brokers. It’s now an industry,” said Dr Mwenda Makathimo, LDGI executive director said.
