Detectives have arrested Migori Governor Okoth Obado’s bodyguard John Chacha Nyamohanga aka Mwita Moses Mogaya for allegedly securing employment by use of fake academic papers.
The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commision says his academic certificates belong to another officer.
The Director of Public Prosecution Noordin Haji gave a warrant of arrest and a go-ahead to begin criminal proceedings against the suspect with the unlawful act of personation of another individual named in a certificate, saying “the offence is contrary to Section 384 of the Penal Code.”
