Member of County (MCA) Eric Wambua Musembi, also known as Winzi, from Kola ward in Machakos County has wowed residents with his many acts ever since he assumed office.
The first time MCA has worked to make education a priority in the society. Since the beginning of the year, the MCA has managed to support 66 pupils from needy families, from all corners of Kola ward, to join various secondary schools.
He urges the ward residents to put more efforts in valuable education as it is a human right to the kids.

In support of his plea, he ensured their full school fees for form one were cleared and promised to pay the rest of secondary school education fees.
To top it up Mr. Wambua also purchased the students’ school uniforms, P.E kits, stationery, basic utilities, boxes, mattresses and all other materials that were needed for admission.
The beneficiaries are students selected from every Primary school in the ward including two who are physically challenged.
This move by the MCA marked the official set off and implementation of Winzi foundation, which he emphasized is looking forward to receiving and aiding more beneficiaries.
Mr. Wambua says that a reliable program to monitor the progress of this year's beneficiaries is on. This is a major milestone of the many projects that will fully change the face of Kola ward. In his words, the ward will never be the same again.
On physical disabilities, Mr. Wambua notes that people with disabilities are often neglected in the society. He assured the ward residents that there is a great portion of his heart for them and he is organizing programmer in their support.
“They are great people who deserve not only recognition but also societal support by giving them a permanent solution,” he said.
On March 24, Mr. Wambua where he opened a shop in Katuaa Market for a physically challenged man from his own kitty. The event was graced by his fellow MCA Abdirahman Ali.
Mr. Wambua believes that with the support of his people, Kola ward and society at large will be transformed into a self-state, and income generating hub.
