West Pokot Governor John Lonyangapuo has asked the anti-corruption commission to investigate factors that could have contributed to the collapse of a Sh160 million building at Chepareria Technical Traning Institute.
The building was still under construction.
The county chief said it was worrying that the building collapsed over a year ago yet there had never been a report presented to explain the loss of public resources used in the project.
The National Construction Authority had stopped the construction of the building but the directive was ignored by the contractor.
