Former Machakos senator, Johnstone Muthama, says the Opposition will defy a Government order outlawing their demonstrations in Nairobi, Kisumu and Mombasa counties.
"The Government has no right to criminalise peaceful demonstrations and picketing that are provided for in the Constitution," said Mr Muthama in Makueni County.
He maintained that there would be no elections in Opposition strongholds. "We are going back to the streets on Monday.
There will be no elections in Ukambani, Coast, Western, upper and lower North Eastern, all parts of Homa Bay, Kisumu, Nyamira and other National Super Alliance regions.”
