Kwale NASA legislators have accused Deputy President William Ruto of disrespecting their leader Raila Odinga.
They also accused Devolution Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri of using relief food to woo the electorate ahead of the repeat presidential election.
Kwale Senator Issah Boy and MPs Suleiman Dori (Msambweni), Benjamin Tayari (Kinango) and Kassim Tandaza (Matuga), who spoke during a campaign rally in Diani Town, asked Ruto to stop calling Raila names.
“We will move around asking people to vote for NASA and the other side (Jubilee) should also ask for votes peacefully,” said Dori.
He called on Ruto to concentrate on selling his agenda instead. Dori asked Kiunjuri not to campaign for President Uhuru Kenyatta using relief food.

"We don't want to see leaders give our people maize and beans as a way of buying them. The food has been bought using public funds. He (Kiunjuri) should look for work to do, not flying here to bribe people with food,” he said.
