Residents of Solai are living in fear after stray elephants believed to be from conservancies in Laikipia strayed onto their farms.
Alfred Tuwei, an employee at Delarei in Rongai, said five elephants invaded the farm five months ago and that locals had been living in fear since.
Nakuru County Senior Warden Muteru Njauini said an elephant relocation exercise might take some time.
"We are trying to hold these elephants in specified areas and have to ensure that their relocation is done after the harvest, when less destruction is likely to happen," he said.
