Debates Media Limited has set up an epic platform for presidential candidates and their running mates to debate one another on issues that concern the Kenyan electorate.
It is already evident that Deputy President William Ruto will not take part in the debate and had tipped Senator Beatrice Elachi or Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung’wa to stand in for him even as organizers of the debate hold that anyone who is not a running mate won’t be allowed to debate.
On Sunday when State House Digital Director Denis Itumbi announced that DP Ruto was to brushoff the debate as they campaign alongside President Uhuru at the coast, the Mr Ichung’wa came out to say he was ready and energetic enough to take on the other running mates at the debate.
