Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) through its official twitter account on Thursday announced that it will be employing 359,958 people temporarily to help in August's General Elections with applicants supposed to apply before 15th June.

The positions advertised includes Presiding Officers (91,032), Polling Clerks/Counting Clerks (262,665), Logistic Officers (337), Deputy Returning Officers (290), Support Electoral Trainers (5,064) and Constituency ICT Clerks-two for every constituency-(589).

Just like any advertised job, a number of people rushed to try their luck but it didn't work out for them, those who were able to login into website, mandatory parts such as Ward Polling Centers and Constituency were inactive while others were unable to access the website at all.

To show their anger and fury majority tweeted while tagging IEBC, here are some of the tweets;

Iwanjiru @Iwanjiru tweeted,

"It says the Polling Center field is required. Field is not active i.e. there's no drop down menu nor is it data-enabled."

Langat Kiprop @Robaa 82 tweeted,

 "Your Link is inactive on Constituency, and Polling center... please advise"

Malath Ochieng @malath_ochieng said,

"Thank you for the opportunities although the recruitment system, seems to be unresponsive when filling the constituency, ward and polling"

10TH @william_muthama tweeted

"What's wrong with your portal after sending application the response is that site cannot be reached I don't even know if it’s? Going through!"

Nicholas Abbey @ObieroAbbey tweeted, "The deadline is so close guys and still there are issues with your website. Is this a way to block us out?"

A few shared conflicting and a different experience, SWAHILI SHAKESPEARE @ Izzobratha tweeted,

"Kenyans like complaining, did you try the link provided for application? This is the link iebc.or.ke/tempjobs/ and it’s working Goodluck".

Mwash 3.7K @morrishmwasho replied later with a tweet, "It's working thanks".

Have you tried out? What’s your experience?
