If your memory serves you well your will remember four years ago, terror struck Joy in Jesus Christ church in Likoni, Mombasa, after gunmen fired indiscriminately at worshipers, killing 6 on the spot and injuring close two twenty worshipers.
Among the injured was Baby Satrin Osinya, who also lost his mother his mother, Veronica Atieno, was killed by the same bullet that pierced into the baby’s head.
Since his recovery, life has never been the same for Baby Satrin who became a part of Mike Sonko’s family. Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko on Monday once again threw his adopted son a grand birthday bash as he turned four.
A good number of Kenyans have hailed Sonko for his good work and continued support he has always given to the less fortunate people in the society.
“I love the way you lay down your love for humanity. Am a man who doesn't waste listening to what politician have to say but you my dear, you make a great politician. If only all political power of a country lay in your hands, that country would be in the hands of a great leader,” said Spiniuth Angns.

“May God expand your horizon, Mr. Governor. We salute you.HBD Satrine. I am sure his mother's blessings are all around you.It was so emotional after the incident but more touching after taking him.You never see a tribe in a person but a human in them, with you all the way to your( Governor)office after 8th,” said Deux Munga.
However, it did not go well with one of Sonko's follower for commenting negatively on Sonko’s philanthropic acts. A post that saw a number of people attack him on social media.
“If you choose to help keep quiet not telling everybody since in the Bible it records if your left hand gives let not your right hand know and let me ask this question how many people have other people helped without popularising themselves? That’s not being a leader is a hypocrite,” posted Victor Kibz.
“Victor kibz what we're doing here is to wish baby Osinya happy birthday. A boy whose mother was murdered by Al-Shabaab and I wonder why you have to comments negatively about it..anyway happy birthday baby Osinya and our good Lord help Sonko and his Family to help many,” Posted Ndugu Waweru.
You must give a testimony of what God is continuing to do in ur life so victor, Sonko is not wrong in what he has done .How could we know that this boy has reached this age many people might even have forgotten that such an incident took place Kudos the sonkos HBD Satrin,” Julie Kiarie.
