Former Inspector General of Police Dr. David Mwole Kimaiyo has said he will support Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto’s re-election bid by all means.
Elgeyo Marakwet County senatorial seat candidate says that he is keen to support the unity of the Kenyan people.
Speaking at Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission offices in Iten town after receiving his certificate to begin campaigning for the seat through KANU ticket, Kimaiyo told Journalists that he is confident to win Elgeyo Marakwet county senatorial race.
He will compete with other candidates among them the incumbent Kipchumba Murkomen-Jubilee, Cornelius Chepsoi-Independent, and Prof. Joel Kiboss-Independent.
The long served civil servant is bitter with the ongoing propaganda that being a candidate in the KANU fresh Party, he is not supporting Jubilee.
“It is my appeal to the people of Elgeyo Marakwet to vote in his excellence the president of the Republic of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto and all of us will move forward,” expressed Kimaiyo.
