Nairobi Senator has admitted that he is a watermelon when it comes to soccer especially when it comes to supporting the biggest football clubs in Kenya.
“Kwa soccer mimi ni watermelon I have been supporting both GOR & AFC for several times & I will continue doing that,” said Sonko.

Thousands of supporters have accessed the stadium to witness the contest. It will be the 83rd edition of the local derby and the first one for AFC Leopards head coach Stewart Hall.
The two teams are meeting for the first time this season, with no clear favourite considering both sides are in great shape.
Stewart Hall IS optimistic that team will manage to collect maximum points because they are in good form. According to him the team has been doing relatively well and the players are up to it and they have assured him that they will do their best.
AFC Leopard is currently placed fourth on the log with 14 points after managing four wins, two draws, and two losses. Gor Mahia, on the other hand, is second on the table with 16 points behind Posta Rangers who are number one with 21 points from nine games.
