Nigerians on board a KLM flight from Amsterdam, Holland, to Lagos, Nigeria threatened to prevent the plane from taking off after they spotted another Nigerian, who was being deported, held in handcuffs.
A video of the incident, which was uploaded on Facebook, showed the passengers protesting what they described as the maltreatment of the Nigerian.
The Nigerians on the plane are heard complaining about the unfair and inhumane way in which Nigerians are treated in Germany, which is unlikely to happen in Africa.
Although the reason behind his deportation is unclear, the man is heard claiming to have been jailed for months for no reason.

They refused to allow the Dutch airline plane to take off unless the Nigerian deportee is unchained and allowed to travel with dignity.
There is commotion in the plane as children are heard crying frightened by the turn of events, as the plane crew tries to stop camera-wielding passengers from recording the incident with their smart-phones.
It is, however, unclear when the video was shot or where the incident occurred.
