Bahati Deputy County Commissioner Mutua Kisilu has warned politicians against conducting night campaigns.
Speaking at the Rift Valley Institute of Business Studies during a graduation ceremony at the weekend, Mr Kisilu said night meetings would not be allowed in the area to pre-empt criminal activities.
“Since 2013, this constituency and Nakuru generally has enjoyed peace. Anyone who will threaten peace among the communities living and working in Nakuru will be arrested,” he said.
Mutua cautioned the youths against engaging in violence during electioneering. He also urged politicians not to deface or remove posters of their opponents.
