The High Court has frozen the North Mugirango Constituency Development Fund (CDF) account.
The action follows an application filed before the court by Franklin Anyona, a university student. Mr Anyona had sued MP Charles Geni for abuse of office and misuse of public resources, a case currently ongoing before the court.
Resident Judge Chrispine Nagillah yesterday issued the orders to have the account closed and barring the MP and the CDF manager from transacting from the account until the case is heard and determined.
The court also ordered the confiscation of a CDF van.
