President Uhuru Kenyatta does indeed look good dancing to the now famous dab dance. Clad in a red and white college jacket, he made moves with the help of dancers who had visited him in State house.
He went ahead to encourage the youth register as voters so that they can make a wise choice come Augst general elections.
But the timing of his dancing is so wrong it hurts! At a time when doctors are on strike over 70 days now, poor patients are dying, drought is biting hard as Kenyans and livestock die, lecturers on strike, businesses are closing down and the youth are still unemployed?
The President needs to get serious, he cannot be seen to be celebrating when so many things that need his attention are all going wrong. He appears aloof and not aware of the basic requirements of his people. So what does the dance moves communicate to those dying of hunger, the doctors, lectures and jobless youth? That the dab will wipe all their problems away?
Timing, Mr. President. Worse still is the fact that MPs are demanding a whopping 3.7 billion compensation for the time they will not be working that is from March to August 2017. The President is yet to say a word on that.

Dabbing is cool, singing thitima is cool too, playing rugby is also cool. But the coolest president is the one who pays his doctors, pays his lecturers, takes measures against drought, provides employment for the youth, curbs corruption and fulfils his manifesto.
This is a mockery to Kenyans and this unwise actions will definitely usher you out of the State House.
