BUNGOMA: Governor Ken Lusaka has dismissed Ford Kenya MPs opposed to the appointment of Wafula Chebukati and retired ACK Archbishop Eliud Wabukala as heads of IEBC and EACC respectively.
Mr Lusaka told the MPs to stop politicising the appointments, saying they were based purely on academic merit.
"The two leaders qualified for the job. They were not nominated based on politics. They have the requisite academic qualifications and are people of excellent integrity," said Lusaka.
Addressing the Press in Kaburengu Thursday, Lusaka said he had not seen leaders from other regions fighting their own for getting State jobs.
"We should leave politics out," he said.
