President Uhuru Kenyatta should seek lessons on how to fight corruption from Tanzanian President Magufuli

Tanzanian President John Magufuli was in the country for the first time since he was inaugurated into office. He came at a time when the country is grappling with corruption cases.

Things are not rosy in Afya House, the NYS scandal is still under probe, Eurobond monster is still living. Dr Magufuli got down to work immediately after his election as the president, he visited a number of Government offices to see how they work.

The lazy ones were shown the door, a woman who lied to him at the airport was demoted and transferred.

Many people thought he was playing cheap publicity and that his zeal would die with time. Time has passed yet Magufuli is still in the battle field strong and fighting corruption, and soon he will emerge victorious.

A good fight indeed that Kenya, more specifically President Uhuru Kenyatta, must emulate. Kenya needs to fashion out genuine and all-encompassing methods of fighting graft.

The nation's political leaders must think positively about corporate Kenya, and come up with a credible and dependable working law to act as a roadmap towards eliminating graft in the country.

Patriotism and unity in diversity have been relegated.
