One man in Mufutu estate in the outskirts of Bungoma town shocked residents after he failed to pay Ksh.20 Chang’aa bill.
It is alleged that the man only identified as Wanjala, a herbal medicine vendor, stormed the brewing den at 9.00 am to unlock his head. After being served he sipped in hurry not knowing the worst that was awaiting him. However his worst fears were confirmed when he reached for his pocket.
He started sweating profusely as he had no one to come for his rescue, a three liter tin with traditional herb half full.
“Are you not paying?” the owner quizzed him.
His tension and uneasiness however caused the den owner to probe him more on what the problem was.
