It's quite disturbing and unfortunate to note that Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang'ula has been issuing ultimatums to CORD leader Raila Odinga to endorse him as the presidential flag bearer.
This demand is strange and undemocratic. Mr Wetang'ula should go round the country to popularise himself to the electorate.
I've not heard Wetang'ula going to Garissa, Loitoktok, Taita, Lamu, Nyabigege, or Tseikuru campaigning and holding meetings with grassroot leaders to sell his agenda and manifesto.
The legislator seems to be looking for an excuse to defect from CORD. Wetang'ula should know that friendly fire is as lethal as enemy fire. If he wants to defect to Jubilee, it's his democratic right and let him do so in broad daylight and stop antagonising CORD and Raila.
