A group of University students at Kenya Methodist University previously launched an Agricultural TV show "Farming Out TV show" that will help farmers increase knowledge about farming. This group led by Isaac Ongoma on their research realized that farmers in Meru and other places within the country experience several losses before and after harvest. This situation is brought about by lack of enough information on farming and post-harvest management.

The TV program is aimed at providing information on; Horticulture, Apiculture, Aquaculture, Cereals and grains and Agribusiness. The program has so far received sponsorship from Kenya Methodist University and Meru TV.

The students are confident at reducing the risk of food insecurity within Kenya and provide solutions to several pertinent farm issues.

The program is normally hosted on Meru TV every Tuesday as from 8.30 to 9.00a.m in the morning. The group is looking forward to partnering with more cartels, Government agencies and Private sectors so as to realize its core objectives in eradicating poverty through better farming skills.

The TV program will also bring together students from high schools, universities, private sectors and Agricultural bodies to common platform that will aid in building capacity among the team.
