The National christian council of Kenya (NCCK) has called for the disbandment of the electoral commission.
Speaking in Machakos yesterday, NCCK chairman Peter Karanja said Kenyans have no faith in the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission and the only way out was to replace the current commissioners.
Karanja, who was hosted by ABC archbishop Timothy Ndambuki, said Kenyans deserved an institution they can trust and one that would deliver justice for all.
"For the peace and unity of the country, let the Government take on the IEBC issue seriously and bring in a body that Kenyans will have faith in during next year's polls," he said. -Victor Nzuma
