Mbooni, Kenya: Police in Mbooni East Sub County have launched investigations into an incident in which a woman was found dead in a lodging house.
Mbooni East OCPD Peter Njeru said the body of 40 year old Nzisa Makau was discovered by the lodging guard yesterday morning.
He said the guard Kyalo King'oo was supplying bathing water to the lodgers when he found the half-naked body of the deceased on the bed.
It is said the woman booked the room in Mbumbuni market at about midnight on Saturday in the company of a man who is yet to be identified.

Njeru said the guard reported the matter to the near Mbumbuni police station, adding the body had no visible injuries neither were there signs of struggle.
The police chief told The Standard on telephone that the body of the deceased was removed to Tawa funeral home to await a post mortem examination.
It was reported that the woman had during the day complained she was feeling unwell and was unable to feed at a burial ceremony she had attended with friends.
